Dole Whip: A 35-Year Delight
For 35 years, Dole and Disney fans have enjoyed the delicious Dole Whip (also known as Dole Soft Serve) treat. This non-dairy pineapple-flavored dessert is exclusively sold only at select Walt Disney World parks and resorts, Dole's Pineapple Plantation in Hawaii, and a couple more locations. I've got the details on where to buy it.
A Disney-Dole Partnership
In 1986, Dole Food Company introduced Dole Whip after becoming the official sponsor of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland, located at both Disney Land and Disney World. Dole Whip is a dairy, vegan, and gluten-free treat (and park-goer staple) that everyone can enjoy. The dessert is traditionally served at select Disney locations in a pineapple flavor but can also be purchased by Dole in mango, lemon, orange, raspberry, strawberry, lime, cherry, and watermelon flavors.
Dole Whip Flavors
There are a number of places at Disney World where you can buy dole whip, starting at the original spot, Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom. Conveniently located outside the Enchanted Tiki Room, you can't miss this fun and decorative snack stand, which offers mobile orders! Aloha Isle serves pineapple dole whip with a choice of vanilla whip or swirl, a pineapple float which consists of pineapple juice, dole whip, vanilla dole whip or swirl, or a raspberry pineapple swirl cup or float. Lime-flavored dole whip can be purchased at Storybook Treats, and orange dole whip is available at Sunshine Tree Terrace, both located in Magic Kingdom. I've yet to try the different flavors, but I will during my next visit.
Finding Dole Whip Outside of Magic Kingdom
With a hop, skip, and a monorail ride, you can head over to Epcot and visit the Refreshment Port or the Pineapple Promenade booth during the Flower and Garden Festival for a dole whip treat. Some guests love the special dole whip and coconut rum, which is occasionally featured at both locations.
Hollywood Studios doesn't currently offer dole whip, but Animal Kingdom does! Stop by Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Africa to get a dole whip, or try the Simba Sunset, which includes dole whip and strawberry, watermelon, and coconut-flavored syrup!

Finding Dole Whip Beyond the Disney Parks
Now let's talk where to find dole whip outside of the Disney parks. If you're travelling to Hawaii, visiting the Dole Plantation in Oahu is a must for dole whip fans. This historic pineapple plantation is a fun tourist attraction and the site's Plantation Grille serves all the dole whip you could ever desire. From pineapple floats, to regular cups and even waffles bowls filled with dole whip, you really can't go wrong with the selections. The menu also features fun food offerings with pineapples such as the pineapple chili dog or the pineapple chili bowl.
Looking for a more local option to enjoy dole whip? Try Menchie's Frozen Yogurt. This neighborhood frozen yogurt shop (in select states) serves a dole whip pineapple sorbet.
